Through historical and archival research of Harlem and Afro-Protestant religious history and queer studies, I help standardize cultural competency practices, bridge external and internal initiatives between the team and our partners, and oversee diverse participant recruitment.
-
Support initial interview structure development, on-sight recording, content story-boarding, and final editing for the podcast production.

I recruit, hire, and liaise between the SoS production team and tech partners to support the design and development of the forthcoming website, webapp, and digital audio archive.
TSWRA WBAR
TSWRA (“The South Will Rise Again”) was a radio show co-hosted by myself and two other students at Barnard’s online radio station WBAR. The team curated a setlist of Southern Hip Hop and R&B while discussing Southern African-American history, scholarship, and pop culture and invites guests to join in the conversation.
The show was featured in the opening panel for Religion and the History of Black Music Summer Series for Columbia School of Professional Studies and spotlighted on “Notes From the Underground” on WKCR 89.9 FM to discuss Southern Hip Hop to over 500 listeners.
